- Try an Amiga dealer - you will also need the same WorkBench.
-

-
- There are no new Compute! magazines.

-
- I have 3 x A1000 keyboards lying around. It would be preferable to
- get a SwitchHitter to allow you to use a PC KB instead - there are
- Windows 95 keyboards now arriving where the Windows logo maps to the
- Amiga key. Unfortunately I don't think Dana is making them at the
- moment. Check out http://www.worldlink.ca/~dana/at2ami.html

-
- Yes, it means you have 512K
-
- >to put kickstart roms in these? Second, the 23 pin RGB (why???); can it
-
- Yes, check your local Amiga dealer - they may still be available
-
- >be adapted to regular 9 pin RGB? Could I use my old 1902a on this machine?

-
- All Amigas produce analog RGB as their native video output. The 1902
- is digital isn't it?
-
- >Question #3: What are the possibilities for adding a HD?
-
- I would guess the only manufacturer still around that might have stock
- of A1000 compatible gear would be ICD - try icdinc@genie.com
-
- >Question #4: I was also told NOT to connect any devices to the serial port

-
- The parallel and serial ports are non standard - gender reversed, and
- power on some lines - check Aminet for details. Distributors still
- stock A1000 parallel printer cables ( well Micro-PACE does in their
- catalog ), so your dealer should be able to get one, or you could make
- your own. I did.

- You're welcome.
